Earth Island Institute
Earth Island Institute, Founded in 1982 by veteran environmentalist David Brower, fosters the efforts of creative individuals by providing organizational support in developing projects for the conservation, preservation, and restoration of the global environment. Friends of the North Coast
The North Coast of Santa Cruz, which extends from the city of Santa Cruz north to Año Nuevo and beyond, is a magnificent stretch of undeveloped coast. Linked with San Mateo County's coastside, it forms part of an unparalleled open space, wildlife habitat and recreational resource stretching from Santa Cruz to Half Moon Bay. It is especially remarkable for its close proximity to the heavily urbanized San Francisco Bay Area.

Friends of the North Coast has been dedicated to honoring and preserving the natural and cultural legacy of Santa Cruz County's North Coast since 1991.

Seymour Marine Discovery Center
